Human Resource Practitioner Permanent

Hire Resolve is currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Human Resource Practitioner to join our client's team in Mpumalanga. Our client operates in the steel industry and is seeking someone with experience in this sector. As a Human Resource Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing HR support and driving HR initiatives in the company. Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
• Provide guidance and support to employees on HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, and career development
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs
• Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records

Requirements

• B.Com Degree in HR Management or related subject field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or mining environment.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations
• Knowledge of handling or managing trade unions or factory shop stewards matters at the floor level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
• Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
